Dakota Sharps Rifle

Much of 2001 was devoted to the development of a scaled down version of the famous Model 1874 Sharps long range rifle. In conjunction with the Little Sharps Rifle Co., of Big Sandy, Montana, we reduced the size of the action by 20% in order to provide a rifle capable of shooting a large variety of rimmed smaller cartridges such as the popular handgun and smaller hunting calibers. We have been pleasantly surprised by the demand for this delightful rifle.
